Plaid Dungeon

Fight the Plague of Plaid as Denim Man. Help Denim Man escape the Plaid Realm by exploring random rooms that you spawn from your massive pockets.

WASD to move and jump. CLICK to shoot. SPACE to spawn a dungeon. You have two jumps. Play in full screen for best experience.

This was made in 72 hours for the Mini Jam 45 which had two themes: "Dungeon" and "Pocket Sized." So I made  a dungeon crawler where the rooms come out of your pocket.

Because this was made in haste, here are the shortcomings that I will aim to address in the future:

• The game doesn't end if you fall out of the world
• There isn't really an objective right now. you just endlessly explore rooms.
• There are no upgrades. I got close to adding them but it didn't make it in time.
• The enemy behaviour is very simple and not very fun. Basically: track the player and shoot.

This is what I would add to this game if I keep working on it:

• Bosses. I love boss fights. It's one of my favorite things to do in games.
• Themed rooms that aren't randomly constructed. 
• Environment hazards like traps and harmful terrain.
